You have a confirmed start date if:

· You and your employer have agreed (in writing) on a date you will be returning to work or will start work.

· You have a confirmed date to open/start your own business. For example, hair salon, spa, cleaning service, restaurants, food trucks, online stores, freelance services, etc.

You do not have a confirmed start date if:

· You are in contact with your previous employer or another employer. They have said they want to hire you, but do not have a date for you to start.

· You do not have an actual recall date

· You do not have an actual start date with a new employer
