What counts as work search related activity?

 

In response to the pandemic, the Department has expanded possible work search related activities, including:

·      Attended a job fair hosted by a CareerCenter virtually or in person

·      Participated in CareerCenter reemployment services virtually or in person

·      Participated in a CareerCenter workshop virtually or in person

·      Applied for a job for which you are reasonably qualified

·      Interviewed for a job for which you are reasonably qualified

·      Contacted an employer about a job opening that you are interested in

 

Note:

·      Reasonably qualified means that you are capable of performing the job based on your education, training, physical ability, and/or past experience

·      Browsing the Internet does not by itself count as a work search activity
